I watched multiple reviews online about how this is such a ripoff, and sucks because it's a Hakko....I don't believe that just because it's not overpriced that it doesn't suck. I've been using this for a couple of months now, and I can say that it is VERY capable, and I'm very very happy with it. When a Hakko costs close to 200 and this was under 50 delivered, but does the same job, just as well, why would I buy the "brand" name. It comes with three different bits. A "knife" blade, which I have used for plastic welding, a regular tip for through hole soldering, and a very fine tip which I find ideal for surface mount soldering. I don't know if the temperature reading is totally accurate, but I don't care. When I put the tip on a large thermal mass, the iron powers itself up quickly to compensate. I would highly recommend this soldering station. I purchased it to accompany my Ayoue hot air station, as it can't do both solder sucker and iron at the same time. Anyway, it's on constantly, and so far no problems.
